Ziya was born from a deeply personal journey of faith, self-discovery, and stepping into the woman I was always meant to be. After reverting to Islam on June 15th, 2024, I knew wearing the hijab was a beautiful command from Allah that I wanted to embrace and commit to. Still, like many, I was nervous about how others would perceive me and really felt the weight of outside opinions. All this meant nothing when I truly put Allah first..  I took my time, gently easing into it, experimenting with different styles and fabrics behind closed doors. In the beginning, I quickly realized that many materials like chiffon and cheap thin jersey just didn’t make me feel secure or confident.  Through months of trial and error, I finally discovered the kind of hijabs that made me feel confident, radiant, and truly myself — soft, high-quality jersey hijabs that worked beautifully in every season. I officially became a hijabi in February 2025, and that’s when Ziya was created.Ziya is not only a reflection of my journey: but a space for women to feel radiant, empowered, and is a celebration of growth, and the light that comes from embracing who you are.
